| November 2013 | Tecnalia advertise job offers. The first offer is focused on experienced researchers (preferably doctors) within the TIFER program. The second offer is aimed at non-experienced researchers, and it is framed in the OCEANET European project. More information on the second offer is available here. | |
| Sept 2013 | MARINET prepares for the 2nd Consortium meeting which will be hosted by CNR-INSEAN in Rome, Italy in the second week of November from Monday 4th to Thursday 7th. | |

Entitled “Laboratory-based development of electrical power conversion and control strategies for ocean energy devices” this training will be conducted in Spain and is organised by Tecnalia & Beaufort Research (formerly HMRC). | |

| July 2013 | “Experimental Modelling of Air Turbines” Registration for this Free MARINET Short Training Course that will run from the 16th – 18th September 2013 in Lisbon, Portugal opened in July 2013. This course is organised and will be hosted by WavEC Offshore Renewables. Details on this course are available here. | |

Testing standardisation – 1st “Round Robin” testing programme underway A three blades horizontal-axis turbine that has been designed and tested by Ifremer will be comparatively tested in three other MARINET facilities. |
